Os arquivos nacionais são arquivos centrais mantidos pelos países. Este artigo contém uma lista de arquivos nacionais.

Entre suas tarefas mais importantes está garantir a acessibilidade e a preservação das informações produzidas pelos governos, analogicamente e digitalmente, para o próprio governo, pesquisadores e gerações vindouros.

Algumas coleções de arquivos nacionais são grandes, mantendo milhões de itens que abrangem vários séculos, enquanto outros criados recentemente têm coleções modestas. Na última década, os projetos de digitalização possibilitaram a busca de registros e conteúdos on -line, embora nenhum arquivo tenha suas coleções inteiras publicadas na web.
